Sussex Longevity Clinic ("we", "us", "our") is a subsidiary of Sussex Wellman Clinic, based at 4 Westbourne Grove, Hove BN3 5PJ. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit our website, book an assessment, or become a client.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Name, email address, phone number and address, when you book a consultation or contact us

  • Payment information, when you pay for an assessment or programme. Payments are processed securely by a third-party provider, and we do not store full card details

  • Health and biometric information gathered during your assessment, including blood test results, cardiorespiratory fitness (VO2 max) data, body composition, strength, mobility and balance measurements, and any medical history you share with our clinicians

Information collected automatically:

  • Standard website usage data (pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location), collected through standard website analytics tools

We will never sell your personal information.

3. Special category (health) data

Because your assessment involves health and biometric data, we ask for your explicit, separate consent before collecting it, and we only use it to deliver your assessment, report and personalised plan. This data is accessed only by the clinicians directly involved in your care and is stored securely (see Section 5).

4. Who we share information with

  • Our clinicians, who work with you directly

  • Any laboratory or testing partner involved in processing your samples

  • Our payment and appointment booking providers, to process payments and manage scheduling

  • Regulators or authorities, where we're legally required to

We do not share your health data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep your information

We retain client health records for as long as necessary to meet professional and legal record-keeping requirements for private healthcare and physiotherapy services. Enquiry and marketing data is kept only as long as needed, or until you ask us to delete it.

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to help it function and to understand how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information

  • Ask us to delete your information, in certain circumstances

  • Object to or restrict how we use your information

  • Withdraw consent at any time (this won't affect processing already carried out)

  • Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure storage of health records and restricted access to client data.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent changes.
